Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IPC Specialist at HPG - Hefny Pharma Group in 10th of Ramadan. The IPC Specialist will be responsible for implementing infection prevention and control measures, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to maintain a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and verifying that sterilization protocols are followed, ensuring the proper functioning of autoclaves, and validating the sterilization processes through biological indicators.
Ensuring that sterilization processes (such as autoclaving, dry heat sterilization, or radiation) are performed correctly to achieve the required sterility assurance levels (SAL).
Maintaining an aseptic environment during the production of sterile products, such as injectable drugs, medical devices, or wound care products.
Conducting in-process inspections and quality control checks to ensure that products meet sterile and quality standards.
Storing sterile items in conditions that prevent contamination.
Training healthcare staff in aseptic technique, ensuring that sterile procedures are followed, and conducting audits on compliance.

Qualifications

1 to 3 years Exp. in Sterile
Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) knowledge and experience
Audit and compliance skills
Attention to detail
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science
