Title: QHSE Officer
Location: New Cairo, Egypt
Your Mission:
The HSE Officer will be responsible for supporting the HSE Supervisor in implementing the club's Health, Safety, and Quality culture across employees and members by conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions. The HSE Officer will also assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures, monitor employee complianceWhat do we expect from you:
Key responsibilities:
Conduct daily safety inspections across the club facilities, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct safety training sessions for new and existing employees.
Maintain accurate records of safety training, safety incidents and safety equipment.
Assist in the investigation and reporting of safety incidents.
Monitor employee compliance with safety procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety legislation and regulations.
Conduct and report on safety audits and inspections.
Communicate safety issues to the HSE Supervisor and the relevant department managers.
Assist in the development of safety policies and procedures for special events.
Assist in the creation of emergency response procedures and protocols.
Other duties as assigned by the HSE Supervisor.
Reporting:
Incident reports: documenting any incidents that occur within the club.
Accident reports: documenting any accidents or injuries that occur within the club.
Risk assessments and near miss reports: identifying and evaluating potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate them.
Safety inspections: checking that equipment and facilities are in good condition and comply with safety standards.
Training records: documenting employee and player safety training and certification.
What do you need to perform your role:
To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements:
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering , safety management or relevant field or equivalent.
NEBOSH or an equivalent certificate.
Proven experience in HSE or relevant position.
First Aid qualification.
Skills and knowledge:
Good command of both written and spoken English language.
Good knowledge of H&S legislation, data analysis, and risk assessment.
Excellent Microsoft office skills.
Naturally collaborative and able to quickly build effective working relationships and influence across the organization and with external partners to improve practices.
Resilient and able to manage competing priorities.
