Job Description
-The PET Production Pharmacist leads the process operations, (Formulation, and packaging), within the PET in the 3rd shift (night shift).
-The Production Pharmacist supervises the production operation to produce quality product on time, at cost, to defined process and operational standards, and drives continuous improvement in daily activities.
-This must be done while maintaining effective employee relations and compliance to cGMPs, other regulatory, as well as SHE obligations and AZ standards.
Job Responsibilities (to include key result areas, specific accountabilities, tasks, etc.)
Maintaining compliance within licenses to operate ( cGMP, SHE, and Business compliance)
Performance Indicators:
Adhere and follows code of conduct
Ensure own work is compliant with health, safety and cGMP
Monthly contribution in SHE Go/Stop cards
Participate in investigations related to SHE deviations and incidents
SHE requirements / standards & performance targets met
Sustainability requirement / standards & performance targets met
Quality standard & performance targets met
Promote & Maintain Safe Working Conditions
Quality compliance:
Support the management of the production line to deliver quality product, on time, in full, in accordance with the production requirements
Provides technical guidance to team members (coach) by using existing knowledge
Achieves key performance indicators for business
Ensures line equipment is set-up and run in accordance with the agreed settings and parameters
Participate in his/her area instructions and records
Participate in investigations related to quality deviations and complains
Execute manufacturing plan properly & timely
Deviation and product defect reports available, correctly completed and up-to-date
Supply, Cost and Lean Program:
Understands the standard process to deliver product on time, in Full. Ensure standard way of working
Participate in achieving his/her area weekly schedule adherence (PSA/FSA)
Participate in implementing lean activities (TPM, SMED, 5S) to achieve required OEE/productivity figures
Lean KPI’s are understood and followed in daily work effectively.
People
Lead training program in relevant area and improvement of the capabilities of other team members to insure improvement in team skills
Process management
Coach GMPs in place and ensure compliance
Coach SHE in place and ensure compliance
Effectiveness of shift-to-shift handovers process
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
Academic / Professional qualification: Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical science
0-2 years of experience in manufacturing facilities.
Desirable
Understanding and applying GMP/SHE requirements
Good Communication skills
Work collaboratively
Ability to execute required tasks
This is a fixed term contract for 6-9 months, mainly required for night shift role.
