The R&D Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the research and development process within our Food manufacturing collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving innovation to enhance product quality, safety, and market competitiveness
analysis trends, demand target customers and reference market needs in collaboration with the marketing department to anticipate trends.
𝖏𝖔𝖇 𝕽𝖊𝖘𝖕𝖔𝖓𝖘𝖎𝖇𝖎𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖎𝖊𝖘:-
-----------------------• Build up a strong product development team in terms of technical knowledge and working skills.
• Attend all top management & strategic planning meetings.
• Responsible for formula cost optimization projects & to conduct cost-saving projects.
• Issuing standard operating procedures for the manufacture of new products.
• Managing new product development from theoretical recipe to lab prototype and final product.
• Review finished product raw materials, labelling changes, specification sheets, and test methods for compliance with regulations and policies.
• Work closely with Marketing and Production Management as a thought partner to outline the strategy for the Specialty and Durables businesses and create product roadmaps aligned to meet the strategy.
• Following up quality of competitors' products on the market.
• Staying up-to-date with industry technological developments.
• Perform general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions, and terminations. Ensuring safe and consistent work practices among the team.
• Collaborate with external partners such as suppliers & Technical. support centres.
• Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice Desired Candidate Profile
• Previous experience within 8 years in the same industry
• A Bachelor's degree in science, food science or any relevant background
𝖏𝖔𝖇 𝕽𝖊𝖖𝖚𝖎𝖗𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖘:-
--------------------• Bachelor's Degree Holder in Food Science or related disciplines.
• Experience : ( 10– 15 ) years Of experience in food product development, background in FMCG retail/food chain is Preferred.
• 4 Years Of Experience in The Same Position At Least.
• Very Good Command of the English language and Communication Skills.
• Very Good MS Office usage.
