SAVOLA Foods Egypt is seeking to hire Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager
Location: Egypt, Ain Sokhna

Job Responsibilities

Ensures our products are made according to approved standards and specifications, meeting all corporate, customers, and local legal requirements, and are delivered to our customers and consumers as intended. Also engages the Site Leadership Team on the development and deployment of vision, mission, and action plans. Analyses quality results, monitors the culture and capability of the site, and provides data-based guidance to the Leadership Team and the technical community to ensure continuous improvement.
Lead the implementation of Quality systems and food safety requirements in the site: establishing and deploying goals; ensuring strong organization capability; regularly tracking, reporting reviewing results with site leadership and upper management as required by Integrated Quality System
Ensure site level compliance to Company SOP’s and Company QA Policy and ensure site level accountability and capability exists to: a) Understand and interpret requirements; b) Establish systems that are sufficient to meet the requirements; and c) Assess on-going that the systems are being executed as designed.
Develop, implement, and enforce security and food safety standards, policies, and programs including HACCP and GFSI, regulatory audits.
Leading investigation of quality issues (customer complaints and NCRs), developing systemic action plans to fix root cause and analyze data in order to ensure the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made. This shall include data generated as a result of monitoring and measurement and from other relevant sources.
Develops and executes food safety training programs for all staff and contracted service providers and strengthens food safety awareness across the site.
Develop and improve supplier capability for starting material quality in line with applicable standards (if needed by site team) in order to improve material quality performance in operation & ensuring that suppliers working with the organization are selected, evaluated and revaluated and maintain records for these process.

Academic and professional qualifications:

University degree in chemistry and any relevant science discipline
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in sugar industry or similar FMCG Industry
Knowledge: Must have previous experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of ISO 9000, BRC and other international systems, with appropriate auditing qualifications, minimum two years’ experience in Auditing as internal Auditor and/or lead Auditor.
