Lab Engineer At Canal Sugar

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Engineer to join our team. As a Laboratory Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing soil, water, and plant tissue samples for crops on our farm. You will interpret the analysis results and create a bill of materials (BOM) based on the findings. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in managing soil fertility, plant nutrition, and water management recommendations. If you have a strong background in soil science, chemistry, and agricultural education, along with experience in the fertilizer manufacturing industry, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Taking soil, water, and plant samples - analysis - interpretation - list of item components.
2. Responsible for the laboratory.
3. Monitoring soil, water, and plants in the field by finding solutions to the deficiency or deficiency.
4. Managing soil exploitation by evaluating the main resources such as soil, water, and plants - economically by calculating chemical fertilizers and water needs.
5. Cooperation with the agriculture team in (bill of materials according to quantity/kg of nutrients in soil and water)
6. Reusing crop residues in the soil.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:
· Education (Degree): Bachelor's degree in Soil Science or related field.
· Education (Major): Specialization in Soil Science - Chemistry.
· Professional Certifications: Master's degree in Soil Science preferred.
Relevant Experience:
5-7 years of experience in soil analysis and agricultural consultancy, particularly in the fertilizer manufacturing industry preferred.
Core Competencies:
- Expertise in soil utilization and consulting.
- Strong agricultural educational background.
- Experience in reclamation and cultivation of desert lands.
- Proficient in managing large area farms.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Proven ability to cooperate with senior management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide wise guidance.
- Proficiency in the English language.

Location:
While we welcome applicants from all locations, preference will be given to candidates currently residing in El Minya Governorate, Upper Egypt, or those willing to relocate.
