𝐑&𝐃 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

•Develop and execute R&D strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and market trends in the confectionery and snacks sector.
•Development: Lead the ideation, formulation, and prototyping of new confectionery and snacks products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance to bring products from concept to launch.
•Identify and evaluate raw materials and ingredients for quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
•Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply chain.
•Establish and maintain rigorous quality standards for all products.
•Implement testing protocols and procedures to ensure product safety, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste while maintaining product quality.
•Stay abreast of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape in the confectionery and snacks industry.
•Use insights to inform product development and innovation strategies.
Mentor, coach, and motivate R&D team members to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
•Provide guidance and support to help team members achieve their professional development goals.
•Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and milestones are met. Prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and manage budgets to drive project success.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

•Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
•Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in research and development within the food industry, with a focus on confectionery and snacks.
Strong knowledge of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and product formulation.
•Proven track record of successfully launching new products from concept to commercialization.
•Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
•Exceptional project management abilities, including the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
•Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the food industry.
•Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
