Egyptian Cement is Currently Hiring
Senior Procurement Specialist
Responsibilities:
§ Purchasing all company needs either Local / Foreign materials, supplies, equipment and services.
§ Receive purchase requisition from all company’s departments and ensure all the specific purchasing needs and specifications is declared.
§ Research and identify prospective suppliers “Sourcing”.
§ Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
§ Provide and evaluate information about relevant price trends and developments in the procurement market.
§ Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
§ Ensuring that all registration documents are kept current & complete.
§ Preparing and issuing purchase orders / agreements & send copies to the finance department with all the documents related to the order including purchase requisition, invoices, comparison sheet, and quotations.
§ Checking and following up with suppliers in aspects of production schedule, deliveries, payments, and quality discrepancies if any.
§ Completes and maintains all records including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receiving reports, and related purchasing paperwork; maintains purchasing files
§ Filing, prepare, maintain & review purchasing files, periodic and special reports & price list and maintaining accurate procurement records.
§ Keep eye on maintaining appropriate inventory levels
§ Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Procurement / supply Chain certificates
- Preferable Cement / heavy industry
- Preferable SAP user
Work Location: 3rd Settlement – New Cairo
