Position Title: Assistant Buyer - Non Grocery Minutes At Noon Egypt

Job Description:

- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
-Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments in the buying processes and new projects and activities.
-Identifying customer preferences, monitoring market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
-Research the market, products & trends. Use the research to also add more suppliers to the base.
-Maintain inventory assortment, ensuring optimal stock levels, sales performance and inventory health.
-Liaise with noon core teams and with other departments to build the best possible assortment.
-Work with the content & merchandising teams to ensure the best visibility for the products procured.
-Manage the entire PO process to ensure optimal inventory.
-Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.
-Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships.
-Work with the warehouse to ensure correct in-warding of stocks as well as clear any other issues in the process.
-Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
-Ensure all reconciliations are done within the planned time for smooth payments.
-Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization.

Job Requirements:

-Bachelors in Business Administration or a similar field.
-0 -3 years work experience.
-Highly detail oriented.
-Up-to-date with market trends.
-Capable of identifying new opportunities.
-Creative and proactive.
-Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
-Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets.
-Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the customer order fulfillment as well as profitability.
-Able to work well under pressure.
