The Role:

As a Quality Control Section Head you will be Supervising Quality control laboratory work to ensure the quality of solid, liquid, Soft finished products & intermediates are in compliance with GSK standard and specification, local requirements and GMP.
You will be responsible for Planning for proper capital investment in the lab and apply new technologies to enhance and maximize lab productivity in compliance with GSK standards, specifications, local requirements and GMP. Supervise the validation work of analytical method for in-house products and the development of new methods of analysis. Monitor lab instrument performance, maintenance, and calibration.

Key Responsibilities:
Check the analysis test results and batch assessment records and review certificates of analysis for product release and take decisions for more analytical investigations, if needed, under supervision of the Analytical Lab. Manager.
Update and implement method of analysis, batch assessment record of products and packaging material items. Prepare/revise SOP’s related to Finished Products Analytical Section.
Set daily and weekly plans for working within the section to ensure fulfilment of the target and best headcount and equipment utilization.
Prepare KPI’s covering Finished Products Analytical, analysts and senior analysts’ performance to Analytical Lab. Manager and perform capacity planning to support SCP process for the site.
Ensure good housekeeping in Analytical Labs.
Prepare and implement plans for training of newly hired Analytical analysts in the section.
Support GPS implementation in managing different activities relevant to the role.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
University graduate, faculty of pharmaceutical sciences or faculty of sciences.
Equipment manipulation and good computer skills.
Minimum 5 years of practical experience in related jobs.
Excellent command of English language.
Knowledge of EHS, GLP and GMP requirements.
Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
