Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries is hiring a Quality Control Section Head.
What well you do?
Assuring consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing applicable food safety and quality systems, validating processes, providing documentation and managing staff.
Supervise the implementation and maintenance of the effectiveness of the food safety and quality program, based on company, customer, legal and regulatory requirements.
Supervise the implementation of Quality Control policies, specifications and procedures for inspecting and controlling raw or packing materials, in-process and finished product to insure that all products generated conform to predetermined standards and specifications.
Supervise human and physical resources to maximize efficiency and company investment.
Ensure the effectiveness of food safety related training for all food handlers (including newly hired) and address any training needs.
Supervise the application and updates for inspection and testing procedure, including finished products specifications.
Settle the QC inspectors daily shifts and rounds (including night shift).
Follow up daily insurance of QC maintenance of required records and documents, including formula test results, inspections, samples, vendor performance, and product complaints.
Collaborate with other departments to understand and troubleshoot product complaints and improve customer service/product performance.
Conduct finished products shelf life testing through verification of current and new products shelf life using known product quality characteristics and parameters and coordinate with food microbiology unit head for testing results validation and documentation.
Prepare monthly/ weekly QC reports for maintenance, production, warehouses and procurement departments.
Maintain high standards of good personal hygiene for the food handlers.
Monitor food sampling and handling at all facilities premises according to the settled sampling plans.
Supervise the QC personnel in case of any governmental, legal or customer audits.

Bachelor of Agriculture, Science, Veterinary medicine.
The ability to control the quality assurance system in monitoring processes, analyzes and calibration.
Experience of at least 7 years in quality assurance and food analysis laboratories and their supervision.
Strong awareness of the Food & Safety standards and Business Processes.
Strong awareness of the ISO standards.
To be a holder of the International Standards Requirements Course / 22000: 2018 / BRC ISO / IEC 17025: 2017.
He must have an internal audit course.
