Job Title: Health And Safety Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
-Protect employees, patients, visitors and the facility from risk hazards (Chemical – Physical – Biological – Mechanical - Fire Hazards) by daily checkups on each shift in the facility.
-Following up with employees’ vaccines for new hires.
-Perform the administrative and technical tasks for the FMS department. In addition to submitting daily reports his/her direct supervisor.
-Follow-up all legal requirements and licenses under the supervision of the department head.
Requirements & Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in science/engineering.
-At least one year of proven experience (Medical background is preferred).
-Health & Safety Certificate (is a MUST).
-Good At dealing with MS Office.

Dar Al Fouad Hospital is hiring 2 positions as Infection Prevention and Control Specialist to join our team.
🟠𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
· Doing clinical and environmental daily rounds, respond to consultations, provide education and training.
· Conduct surveillance activity& follow the patients under surveillance from admission to discharge.
· Doing laboratory rounds to collect positive microbiology and serology results, discuss the results with the attending physician or his resident, and may advice isolation.
· Make audits and write MEMO on infection control performance and violations in both patient and non-patient care areas.
· Provides orientation and education about infection prevention and control.
Conducts epidemiological surveillance programs in departments and areas related to patient care –activities and investigates clusters / epidemics of infections.
. Helps to develop infection control policies and procedures in collaboration with hospital departments.
. Provides professional consultation and assistance in infection control to the medical staff and the non-medical staff.
. Participates in developing and implementing policies relating to employee health.
. Performs related duties as assigned by the infection control committee

· Minimum 1 year experience in Infection Control
· Infection control Diploma
. Healthcare background is a must as ( Physician , Dentist , Vet or pharmacist or any other similar background )
