Job Purpose :

To execute Materials Requirements Planning across entire horizon of the Manufacturing Resource Plan for selected work centres and run the Performance Management process for incoming materials deliveries. As well as monitoring, maintaining and ensuring complete accuracy of all critical data fields related to incoming materials.

Key Responsibilities :


Running MRP, developing materials schedule for each supplier & ensure that exceptions are managed / issues are resolved.
Align forecast based on requirements with supplier in the most appropriate way and ensure that they will be met while driving value generation and loss elimination projects.
Focus on material availability as per the production schedule requirements and that all materials are maintained within safety stock.
Day to day management of issues associated with late deliveries, damaged stock, quality failures.
Handling MOH requirements and importation plans on time to facilitate materials delivery.
Keeping optimum inventory and safety stocks on site based on site material stock policy & Segmentation rules while highlighting any risks according to FC changes or suppliers issues.
Constant monitoring, maintenance and complete accuracy of all supply critical fields within the system.
Co-ordinate with Inbound logistics team to accelerate customs clearance process.
Measurement of supplier performance and driving improvements.
Identification and mitigation of stock at risk and working with key support functions and managing Phase-in Phase-out and write-off analysis, reporting, and execution in new project launches.
Execute Production scheduling (0-13 Week Horizon) for select work centers to achieve best utilization and meeting
supply plans with highlighting risks and proposed mitigations.
Monitor & define capacity statement for work centers within the site (0-24 months) with scenarios.
Run monthly Production Capacity Validation PCV process with site functions and Regional Supply Chain Planning
Team to validate and keep all parameters up-to-date (OEE%, Run rates, Change over time, Maintenance plans,
Shutdown plans).
Run the Performance Management process for Order Fulfillment within Cairo site manufacturing network and
Maintain accurate Order Book so system can be used to identify when product shipments are scheduled to occur.
Measure & report CTS , SOLS for all Production work centers.
Follow production orders and co-ordinate activities up to the point of ex-site readiness.
Review / agree RCCP structure with supply chain planning team and liaise with site functions for RCCP relevant
Data fields (either static or dynamic data) and supply scenarios and execute a level-loaded schedule to manage production capacity and supply products on time.
Take / coordinate agreed site corrective / preventive actions in case of imperfect deliveries to market.
Accommodate Production Scheduling requirements for non-standard activities such as New Product Introduction /
Pack change / Product Transfer / Repackaging
Identification and mitigation of stock at risk and working with key support functions in processing any inventory write-off requests.
Ensure updated BOM and routing data.
Why you?

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor degree of relevant field.
CPIM certification is preferred.
2-4 years’ experience in Planning and Supply Chain.
Preferred experience in SAP SNP-APO / ECC.
Knowledge of manufacturing, production and planning systems
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving & decision-making skills

Excellent computer skills (Excel skills, Outlook, Excel, Word).
Highly numerate with knowledge of planning/scheduling systems.
