Job Summary:
We are looking for a Materials Planner to manage and ensure that materials resources are consistent with production schedules. The material planner's responsibilities include determining material specifications, creating and maintaining inventory schedules, coordinating with internal departments, and managing external stakeholder relations.
Job Description:
Conducting Daily market search for any new requirements or any rush orders received.
Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
Ensuring a timely and efficient ‘purchase to pay’-process according to organization requests and needs.
Getting quotations for the materials required from the market and submit it to procurement assistant team leader.
Delivering the purchased materials to warehouse and submit the invoices to the finance department.
Evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business administration or any relevant
field.
0-1 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain
Fresh Grades can apply
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent English is a must.
