Logistics Coordinator At Johnson & Johnson
Johnson & Johnson is hiring two Logistics Coordinator in New Cairo, Egypt.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery, specifically regarding customer satisfaction. Everyone in the logistics department is responsible for responding immediately to customer questions, inquiries, and for notifying customers about any delays in the delivery schedule. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating/collaborating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position.
Special Requirements
Process end customer invoices accurately and on time
Timely follow up with sourcing points and Freight Forwarders
Familiar with ME regional Customs regulations and requirements
Familiar with different modes of Transportation “Road, Sea and Air”
Prepare accurate shipping documents
Liaising with clearing agents on cargo clearance with customs
Familiar with processing Letter of Credit and bank submissions
Satisfy airway bills in a timely manner
Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments
Review purchase orders and shipment contents prior to dispatch
Must have analytical skills
Develop and improve logistics operational processes and drive efficiencies in key metrics (backorder, shipment lead time, invoice accuracy, claim resolution)
Ability to handle product recalls
Familiar with project management fundamentals
Track and analyze missed shipments to ensure root causes are identified and resolved
Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels
Ensure quality of all services and processes within the facility
Adhere with the Corporate Trade, Finance Compliance always
Continuously reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
Liaise with officials in various agencies to ensure goods are cleared through customs or quarantine. You will also arrange for transportation, warehousing, or product distribution of imported or exported goods and liaise with Freight Forwarders.

Qualifications
Essential knowledge and skills
Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration or industrial engineering (Years of Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience
Technical Skills Required: Logistics and clearance
Language: English and Arabic
Customs knowledge an advantage
