Graduate Intern, 5G Software Engineer
From applied research to advanced engineering, Dell’s 5G R&D team is designing and developing ground-breaking products & solutions. You will be involved in assessing the market, developing technology and products and generating intellectual property. Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation in support of building something from the ground up, all while working with colleagues across the globe to ensure Dell products always lead the way.

What you’ll achieve:
As a 5G Software Engineer Graduate Intern, you will work with a cross functional global team to design, build and deliver production ready software with Dell standards. You will work on a product that is adding intelligence and machine learning to the RAN which is a new edge and a huge differentiator for 5G networks. As part of the 5G team, you will work in collaboration with multiple teams around the world.
You Will:
Participate in project lifecycle from requirements gathering and implementation to project delivery
Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to present updates and understand new requirements
Collaborate with different Engineering teams at Dell Technologies
Develop high quality, reliable and maintainable code
Be a part of a microservices solution using cutting edge technologies
Be agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right so we can improve on it

Essential Requirements:
Recent Graduates from Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline
Well-rounded in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Python, Go or JavaScript
Good object oriented principles knowledge
Understand REST, databases design & Microservices Architecture
Familiar with Git
Desirable Requirements:
Networking knowledge
Understanding of Virtualization and Containerization
Contributions to large open source projects
