Senior Specialist - Regulatory Affairs At Juhayna Food Industries
Location:6th of October, Cairo, Egypt
We are searching for a qualified, and reliable Regulatory Affairs Assistant Senior Specialist with at least 1 year experience responsible for all the product labels used by Juhayna comply with local legislation, government guideline and Company polices also to identify potential regulatory risks and opportunities and ensure tracking of local, regional and global regulatory issues and emerging trends that impact the reputation of our ingredients, products, packaging, brands, etc .
Supporting the provision, and legislation approval, of product information for all types of marketing communications.
Providing information and advice on legislation for product formulation and labelling issues.
Approving ingredient specifications for legislation and nutrition and support other requests for information relating to labelling.
Preparing product registration files and submit on-time and follow up till registration occur.
Supporting the Regulatory team in the review and approval of label artwork to ensure it meets legislation requirements and the external communications to ensure they are not misleading and conform to legislation.
Reviewing recipes and ingredient specifications, ensuring legislation requirements are met and complied with company policies.
Supporting the business with regulatory information relating to products sold also a direct contact with relevant stakeholders to perceive any new regulatory updates.
Maintain an awareness of new food legislation and government guidance.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical, Food Science, Nutrition is a must.
1 year relevant experience in Regulatory.
Understands the broad regulatory guidelines and policy context of regulations
Awareness of Egyptian food, pharma or nutrition legislation and its application.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
Fluent English is a must.
Competent in problem solving, planning, and Directing others.
