Job responsibilities:
Train and supervise the Formulation Specialists.
Monitor and report progress of the Formulation day-to-day tasks.
Design and Execute Formulation & Process development activities, including excipient selection,
process optimization, scale up and validation
Drive the resolution of technical challenges accordingly.
Interact, support and work cross-functionally with peers from different departments to ensure the
overall projects are delivered on time against the detailed set plans.
Provide support to ongoing formulation and development stability studies.
Solve problems encountered during large scale production.
Oversee documentation and reporting all formulation trials.
Perform the analysis of new products and prepares the experiments necessary and samples for
stability, export & bio-equivalence studies.
Ensure productivity is sufficient to meet time constraints established for current procedures and processes.
Draft related functional SOPs.
Report incidents or observation concerning equipment, utility, method, product or procedure and any other relevant item in the R&D department
Analyze results and provide recommendations based on findings on formulations.
Participate in collecting date of process validation and cleaning validation.
Responding & trouble shooting the Non-Conformity Reports (NCRS) and actively engaged in
investigating and solving production problems & customer complaints.
Supervise pilot trials to find the best formulation for new products with recommendation
Supervise & drive database of chemicals, samples & trials.
Job Holder Specifications
Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science or Science.
5-6 years of previous experience in Pharmaceutical R& D formulation is mandated backed with
people supervising responsibility.
Good English language and good MS Office skills
Previous experience in trouble shooting & problem-solving techniques.
Good management skills, good communications skills and strong analytical skills.
