Savola Snacks is seeking to hire Laboratory Chemist

Location: Abo Rawash – Giza, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for chemical lab tests, reporting, laboratory procedures, document control, daily reports
Conduct standardized tests on raw materials, semi and finished products, preservatives in order to ensure compliance with standards.
Preparation of samples for outside analysis
Collaborate with purchasing to Inspect all raw materials before manufacturing and compare with the standards.
Maintain accurate and thorough records of laboratory procedures and results; ensure compliance with regulations; prepare analytical work sheets and reports.
Develop and expand the capability of available methods, especially for trace analysis, in order to get reliable and significant results,
Maintain lab equipment and troubleshoot or report on malfunctions
Sterilize equipment and store materials in secure places
Analysis and evaluation of results

Job Requirements:

2 to 3 years of experience in Laboratory in food industry
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a science-­‐related field
English Proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
