Job description
Role Purpose:

The Quality and Hygiene Assistant Manger is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of hygiene and food safety in all areas of operations within the store. The role holder is also responsible for contributing to a best in class shopping experience.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Create Prerequisite Programs and Supporting Documentation.
Create and develop HACCP Plan for and new product process.
Update and Implement Food Safety Management System and communicating.
Establishment and developing prerequisite programs and its procedures, e.g. training, sanitation, recalls.
Assembling key personnel for establishment, implementing and, developing an effective food safety plan.
Describing products and their intended uses.
Conducting hazard analysis.
Reviewing and validating the food safety management system
Preparing and participating in audits
Update and maintaining the quality manual
Collaborating with the sourcing and product development team
Settlement the recall procedures Developing and Managing recall
Developing action plans with the department manager to address weak areas in need of improvement.
Ensure correct processes, policies and proper execution of inventory management Shrink/Expiry control and Quality focus (in terms of inventory no damaged or poor fresh food quality, close to expiry).
Interact with senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
Follow up financial and operational performance of each store and initiating required actions for improvement.
Leading Store quality team to improve the Operations KPI’s (Audit results, lab analysis, ….etc.)

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications/education

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

3+ years in related food quality control.
1+ years within the retail working with food is preferable.
Skills

Good command of English language.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Process associated with the development and monitoring of products.
Strong leadership capabilities.
