Senior LC-MS Research Specialist At Minapharm Pharmaceuticals
Responsibilities
Develop and qualify LC/MS based analytical methods to support the development activities of biological products (e.g. monoclonal antibody-based therapeutic proteins).
Design and conduct analytical experiments that support the development of pipeline products, and analyze mass spectrometry data to elucidate the quality attributes such as intact mass analysis, peptide mapping and glycans analysis in monoclonal antibody therapeutic proteins.
Responsible for troubleshooting and regular maintenance of mass spectrometry instruments.
Writing technical reports, SOPs, and analytical method protocols, etc.
Participation in the development and upgrade of laboratory facilities.
Communication with other departments such as upstream, protein purification, stability, ware house, purchasing, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sciences, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Sciences or other related field, with at least 2-3 years of direct mass spectrometry experience.
Previous experience in LC-MS applications for the analysis of peptides and proteins (e.g. monoclonal antibodies) is preferable.
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication in English (oral and written).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
