Job Purpose

Responsible for  conducting  professional  sales  calls  for  physicians,  hospitals, pharmacies, and other health care professionals within the assigned area as well as updating all stakeholders with GSK products and ensure the appropriate use of  these  products.  Explore Business  Potential  in  assigned  areas  (COVERING SHIFTS OF DIFFERENT DAYS, CREATING CUSTOMERS) . Comply with the company code of conduct and the pharmaceutical marketing & promotional code during the accomplishment of all sales practices.

Key Responsibilities: 

Implement all plan of action programs to accomplish promotional and sales objectives established for his/her area
Visit doctors and pharmacists to promote company products in his assigned area according to the agreed customers’ list
Plan and prepare for sales call in order to satisfy every special need of all prescribers, and to achieve the targets number of calls per product per cycle for the sake of the global sales target achievements
Provide market feedback in terms of competitive activities, customer needs. APPLY problem solving and apply time and territory planning according to the scheduled itinerary for doctor/pharmacists visit as agreed with the manager
Ensure that his area of responsibility has the opportunity to participate in all competitive tenders that go on in the territory
Submit all necessary reports such as weekly itineraries, daily and monthly reports on activities reports on pharmacies/hospitals stock level and written records concerning competitor's activities including new product lines, price promotional strategies and selling points in addition to all trade facilities
Provide all classes of customers with information concerning available products, prices and policies that will enable to maintain an up-to-date complete customer record lists
Attend and participate in all districts, regional and national meeting as well as special training meetings etc
Utilize current sales reports and all other sales data to ensure successful implementation to the company program
Ensure safekeeping confidential records and maintain all company supplies and materials in functional condition

Basic Qualifications:

B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Science, Dentistry, Medicine, or Veterinary Medicine.
0-2 years’ experience as Med.Rep
Communication skills
Selling skills
Good command of English language
