Job Description
Accountabilities:
Implement Egypt annual audit against GEHSMS protocol and develop EHS capability of all Egypt employees including manufacturing and non-manufacturing through the design and facilitation of standardized EHS courses to meet PepsiCo EHS standards.
Fully utilize PepsiCo EHS Diagnostic and audit tools to ensure Egypt sites full compliance with the corporate EHS global metrics and audit methodologies.
Conduct audits in a timely manner and ensure that all identified compliance gaps are closed, and risks are fully mitigated.
Communicate timely audit reports to Compliance & Training Manager and audited sites managers.
Follow up on the completion of corrective action plans for each audited function/site against the audit reports through a robust tracking system to ensure adherence to plans timelines.
Analyze employee EHS incompetence gaps through audits and communicate training requirements to EHS Compliance & Training Manager to ensure competence.
Timely upload audit reports, results to My EHS and monitor action points closure rates with actions identified owners.
Verifies and validates the undertaken actions to ensure their effectiveness to deliver improvements.
Deliver all assigned trainings with adherence to PepsiCo EHS Competency & Training standard.
Maintain appropriate documentation and records for the EHS training programs, which will include Electronic & handwritten attendance sheets, Courses’ evaluation and Any other relevant documents.
Monitor EHS trainers’ performance across Egypt and Monthly reporting of training records including evaluations to EHS compliance and training manager.
Conduct exceptional training during crises (in case of occurrence) due to major incidents or major change in procedures which needs employees’ awareness.
Develop new training materials for the newly implemented EHS standards.
Analyze the evaluation forms to identify the gaps in the trainings delivered for improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering or relevant major.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in EHS & auditing.
Good English language written and spoken.
Advanced Computer Skills.
Subject Matter Expertise in core risk areas, control systems, and EHS regulations.
Prior experience leading, mentoring and developing a safety team is an Advantage.
Good problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
Solid employee relations experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
NEBOSH certification, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor will be advantage.
