Job Purpose:
Facilitate and guide the employees to implement the HSE and Energy polices.
Leading all the Activities of HSE programs ( Risk Assessment )& procedures compliance with group HSE requirement and standards
Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.
Ensure from complying with all legal and Sanofi requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Compliance with Governmental inspection concerning HSE issues
Improving the fire detection systems ( firefighting equipment & Fire Alarm system )Check and release concerned Safety work permits system prior to start up

Monitoring measurements program ( noise, light, Energy, environmental measurement )Follow up renewal of the Licenses of the facilities (Boiler, generator, emergency fire pump) in cooperation with the Legal Dept. and engineering.
Organization of the periodic HSE Committee meeting
Follow the requirements of Internal Auditing through the Industrial safety outside auditors Upgrade the environmental register.
Submit the required reports to authorities and SANOFI.
Gathering and reporting of HSE Monthly, quarterly, and annual data for Industrial affair.
Collecting the required HSE and Energy data on monthly basis for communication with all concerned departments.
Lead the site HSE team to implement the HSE programs (PASS) and follow up the implementation on Quarterly basis
Set up the self-inspection program/internal audits & follow up the implementation and take the corrective actions for any violations
Follow up the emergency plan ( updates , communication , drills )
Lead the HSE team for investigates all accidents/incidents to define the root cause and the corresponding corrective and preventive actions
Train the HSE team on HSE procedures, SOP’s and MSDS, Prepare and implement HSE awareness program and HSE induction training program.
Define and control the required PPE’s and first aid kits for site.
Explore the usage of renewable energy
Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
Co-Ordinate all activities of contractors, ensuring that HSE requirements are implemented
JOB-HOLDER’s ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor of Engineering or pharmacist or Sciences
Related Experience:
3 – 5 years of related experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or FMCG
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of HSE guidelines and practices (OSHA, NIBOSH), has international certificate/Diploma is preferred.
Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001 requirements.
Knowledge of reporting and developing policies
Proficient in MS Office.
Excellent communication and advisory skills
Diligent with an analytical mind.
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
