Vacancy for: Student Affairs

The Archiving Officer's primary job duties and responsibilities are comprehensive, detailed, and flexibly growing to serve maximum efficiency. The Archiving Officer is expected to professionally perform the following tasks:


• Responsible for preparation and archiving for the running Admission Test sessions on daily basis.

• Sort out Applicants records for labeling and filing

• Create directories and labels collections

• Is responsible for the safety and preservation of the documents during backup creation and archiving process.

• Advise users on how to best access, use and interpret archives

• Create a records backup system for emergencies

• Respond to personal, telephone, email and enquiries from department members

• Report problems to Admission Supervisor and Deputy and follows up their solving process


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job of the Archiving Officer:


Education


• Primary teaching language at High School is English – preferable

• Attainment of University/College Degree or equivalent – a must


Specialized knowledge


• Record-keeping/archival systems – preferable


Skills


• Good English language command – spoken and written

• Good typing skills

• Microsoft office and outlook (emailing) knowledge

• Good communication skills – to be interactive (face-to-face and over the phone)


Abilities


• Committed to finalizing and delivering tasks within deadline

• Teamwork: to have a cooperative work environment in order to coordinate the sections goals to achieve the department mission and vision.

• Accuracy: to maintain high quality delivery in all tasks

• Integrity: to be honest, having strong moral principles and responsibility

• Initiative: to learn, brainstorm, troubleshoot problems and accommodate various inquiries

• Tidiness and punctuality: to accomplish tasks in an organized and neat fashion and be punctual attending to work and work-related appointments

• Time management: keeps track of required tasks and delivers them within required time according to department needs
