Customer Insights Analyst At CIB Bank
Job Purpose
Provide CIB with a better understanding of our customers based on data, using simple analytical techniques and the appropriate summary measures that enable identification of opportunities and spotting of threats.
Description
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Analyze raw data, draw meaningful conclusions and generate actionable insights
2. Propose appropriate measurement methods to understand campaign performance according to the generated statistical data
3. Identify opportunities to drive customer value based on actual behaviour through different channels
4. Review customer data for trends, patterns, and casual analysis to assist in understanding customer’s activity
5. Perform data-driven analysis of marketing campaigns to determine business impacts
6. Design, enhance, and distribute marketing reports that clearly communicate business results according to proper data analysis
7. Summarize data and analysis in a simple and concise format
8. Analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources and business stakeholders to identify actionable insights
Policies, Processes and Procedures
9. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day-to-day management
10. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department to ensure continuity of work
Compliance
11. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
• Mathematics or Statistics Bachelor degree or higher with 1 - 3 years previous work experience in customer insights or customer intelligence related jobs
• Highly motivated team player with strong presentation skills
• Experience in banking industry would be a plus
• Basic understanding of business financials, ROI and profitability concepts
• Passion for analytics
Skills
• Professional fluency in English plus outstanding verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Good knowledge of SQL programming
• Ability to present complex information in simple terms with clear recommendations based on data insight
• Strong customer focus mentality
• Outstanding data interpretation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, adapt easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
• Problem solver with a can do attitude
