Job description
Job Purpose:
Carry out the day-to-day operations of the HSE department and contribute to the application of effective Health, Safety, and Environmental management by providing technical support.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain an effective health and safety management system.
Raise employee’s health and safety awareness.
Provide information to aid consultation with all those interested in the company's health and safety policies, plans, and performance.
Work very close to new Projects.
Monthly report.
Suggestions to avoid the problems.
Motivates and develops the skills of his team and recommends need-based training for skills improvement of his personnel.
Follow up on all the activities on site.
Maintain all the legal requirements of the Ministry of Environment.
Maintain all the legal requirements of the Ministry of manpower and civil defense
Reports to:
H.S.E Section Head
Education & Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
(2-3) years of professional experience in the health & safety field
Working with cables industry and a good knowledge of mechanical equipment is an advantage
Strong attitude for using basic computer applications (e.g. MS-Office).
Capability in handling the changes, and drive them through the projects, Organizations, and communications.
Maintain the safety standards and comply with Company’s Health, Safety, and Environment
Accomplished Certificates are required like: (NEBOSH IGC, Lead auditor on 14001 and 45001, and Health and Safety specialist
Excellent leadership, team building, presentation skills, and management skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Proficiency in English
