Job description
Site Name: Egypt - Cairo
Job Purpose
Work with all employees, contractors and visitors to ensure that all EHS standards, procedures and regulations are fully adhered to across the site on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
•Implementing and Support in development of EHS management systems.
•Implement EHS risk assessment Strategies across the site and enforce preventative measures.
•Review existing standards, measures and update according to legislation and corporate requirements.
•Initiate and organize EHS training of employees and executives.
•Inspect / auditing premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).
•Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
•Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes.
•Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required:
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor of Engineering
•Proficient in MS offices
•Working knowledge of EHS management information system is a plus
•Good understanding of Industrial fundamental processes (2 years' experience).
•English Language is a must.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
•High Learning agility.
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
•Experience in writing reports and policies.
•Excellent communication & negotiation skills with the ability to present and explain EHS topics.
