Site Name: Egypt - Cairo

Job Purpose

To support the execution of material requirements planning and replenishments of materials plans for Cairo site.

Key Responsibilities:

Running MRP, developing materials schedule for each supplier & ensuring that exceptions are managed / issues are resolved.
Ensuring requirements are sent to the supplier in the most appropriate way and that the requirements can be met.
Runs materials coverage reports to ensure materials availability as per the production schedule requirements.
Supports day to day management of issues associated with late deliveries, damaged stock, quality failures.
Supports MOH annual importation plan exercise by consolidating requirements on time, Handling & following up on MOH requirements to facilitate Materials delivery.
Keeping optimum inventory and safety stocks on site based on site material stock policy.
Co-ordinate with Inbound logistics section head to accelerate customs clearance process.
Measurement of supplier performance, OTIF, Order within LT, Overdue POs, PRs and working on improving MRP scores.
Identification and mitigation of stock at risk and working with key support functions to decrease inventory write off
Support the product discontinuation process assessing material/components position and monitoring them through the discontinuation date.
Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Business / Pharmacy / Engineering / Logistics
English Language is a must
1-5 years of experience with a specialization of Supply Chain planning, logistics & Materials Planning
APICS certification is preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing, production and planning systems

Ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate achievable plans.
Excellent computer skills (Excel skills, Outlook, Power BI)
Highly numerate with knowledge of planning/scheduling systems.
Knowledge of MOH regulations.

Strong communication skills.
Experience in SAP SNP-APO / ECC.
Multiple task management
Adaptability/flexibility
Attention to details with ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work within an environment of continual change.
