Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems.
Identify and repair electrical faults, malfunctions, or breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform electrical testing, calibration, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment, systems, and machinery.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards during installation and commissioning processes.
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues and equipment failures using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with maintenance team members and external contractors to address electrical breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment.
Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality, equipment history, and production requirements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment performance logs.
Generate reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
Adhere to electrical safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical maintenance.
Identify opportunities for process and equipment enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize electrical maintenance processes.


Qualifications & Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Years' of experience: 0 - 2 years.
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
Proficient in electrical testing and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
