Establishes test requirements of new-product to verify product reliability.
Maintains a master document that has all the scientific support/references used to support the products’ structure-function claims.
Ensuring the new product meets the product specification

Reviews batch records, SOPs of trial products during R&D trials before start proceeding in toll plant with R&D formulator
Investigates problems relating to production of existing products & suggests solutions.
Issue audit plan annually, half annually, quartet and monthly for all toll plants.
Ensure involvement in all trouble-shooting activities before production and coordinate with production manager during processing.
Lead the development of robust, stable and effective formulations (solid oral) to be used for in-house manufacturing, when provided the amount of medicinal ingredients in the dosage form for new product development.
Coordinate formulation and analytical resources as needed, including those provided by production/manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, supply, regulatory affairs.
Prepare manufacturing trial documentation for pilot with all analytical steps done during it.
Coordinate with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and Supply Departments to ensure that projects are planned and executed in a timely manner.
Report on adherence to schedule and trial status on a weekly basis to Product Development Manager.
Write product development reports and analyze results.
Check formulation activities from other Formulation Scientists and supervise their training.
Elaborate documentation for product registration.
Follow up with bioequivalence centers.
Prepare quality files in order to be submitted in EDA.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably medical background (pharmaceutical, vet, science, chemistry, etc.
10 years of experience in quality assurance, 2 years of experience as quality assurance manager
