Senior Accountant At AstraZeneca
Major Accountabilities
Responsible for ensuring that general accounting processes and implementations in accordance with AZ policies.
Manage the relationships with shared service centers located in India and Poland in most effective way.
Support in implementation of tools and projects related to controlling activities.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations as assigned including but not limited to bank reconciliation, AP, GR/IR, and Advances to Suppliers. Ensure follow up, documentation and remediation for any unreconciled item and aged items.
Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
Participate in month end closing procedures including coordination with shared services.
Preparation of needed analyses as per internal / external audit and Tax inspection requirements.
Assist in tax preparation and filing activities.
Ensure the assigned controls are operating effectively.
Support in the assessment of customer credit worthiness
Qualifications
BS degree of accounting.
+5 years Accounting experience. Big four experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP applications.
Strong analytical thinking and accountability skills.
