Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.
Responsibilities
· Participate in recurring problem RCA solve any operational breakdowns to minimize the impact on production
· Develop & Plan preventative maintenance programs in SAP
· Develop local engineering standards for the plants in-line with global standards
· Costing estimates of various projects
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives
· Reduce energy intensity of the plants
· Develop local vendors for various requirements
· Record & report CAPEX spend as well as forecast
· CAPEX forecasting for 3 – 5 years
· To establish strong systems, processes & standards in Engineering as well as project execution
Run cost optimizing projects along with the team
Adherence to laid down CAPEX policies & reporting
Developing engineering standards & ensuring adherence
Cost optimization through engineering solutions
Energy Management
Qualifications
A degree in Engineering
Good command over English language is a must
Minimum 2-3 year experience in similar field in FMCG industry
Good computer skills – Microsoft office as well as AutoCAD
