JOB PURPOSE : plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Implement and control the production schedule.
-Manage & determine human & material resources to meet production targets
-Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
-Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
-Ensure implementation and adherence to health, safety & quality procedures
-Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
-Prepare and maintain production reports
-Monitor and review the performance of staff
-Set & Manage production budgets
-Manage production budgets
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
At least 10- 15 years equivalent field experience (detailed knowledge required for meat production frozen and chilled)
Bachelor of Agriculture or Sciences
Fluent in written and spoken English
