Procurement Operations Specialist At Majid Al Futtaim

Role Purpose:
Support for all operating countries and all MAF OPCOs
Role Details:
Delivery with the Operations Head the operational strategy and budgets
Review purchase requisitions and create POs in line with the standard operating procedures.
Monitor and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
Maintain product and service catalog and framework agreements
Solicit and analyze the feedback from stakeholders for the Procurement function
Identify and arrange the training programs for the team
Manage and maintain procurement database ensuring clean and accurate data is available
Provide periodic compliance and data analytics reports to procurement operations and category leads
Analyze the spend profile to identify the improvement opportunities
Work with Category leads to validate these opportunities
Actively communicating with the stakeholders in the business and developing the review platforms to meet the KPI and SLA Guarantees set
Processing 5,000+ purchase orders and administering 1,000+ supplier accounts
Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
Skillset (job specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed)
Detailed and pragmatic experience of operational metrics and KPIs and process diagnostics
In-depth understanding of and practice of best-in-class procurement processes such as sourcing and operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Highest degree of ethics
Operational experience in ERP such as SAP Ariba
Minimum experience
Min 2 years of experience
Minimum Qualifications/education
Any good schooling
Fluency in English and Arabic (Preferred)
