1-0 Role:
1-1 Performs routine analytical on-line testing to ensure that finished beverage product meets quality standards
2-0 Accountabilities:
2-1 Perform routine analytical on-line testing in compliance with the predetermined manufacturing control plan (MCP) to ensure that finished beverage product meets quality standards.
2-2 Running proportioning equipment (mixers) and maintaining accurate records
2-3 Monitors and records Brix, CO2 , Acidity (TA) and net content as required and make proper adjustment as necessary to ensure product quality within Pepsi specifications
2-4 Monitor bottle washer performance and quality parameters to ensure returnable bottles proper cleaning and sanitation
2-5 Monitor visual inspectors and EBI efficiency to ensure foreign matters elimination
2-6 Perform necessary adjustments to product batches and other processes when out of normal operating conditions are experienced.
2-7 Test finished product and final package for quality parameters. Analyze and respond to results as needed.
identify root cause analysis with team members to identify and implement corrective action
2-8 Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations
2-8 Use analytical instrumentation such as Carbo-QC, Denstometer, pH meter, Refractometer, Torque tester, secure seal tester, … etc.
2-9 Logging and tracking of on-line samples testing
2-10 Place all products and packages that fall outside quality ranges on hold for further testing or review, and communicate with the direct manager and concerned departments.
2-11 Lead lines sanitation and deep cleaning duties as needed and ensures proper sanitation and cleaning of production lines before startup and during production
2-12 Ensure micro samples are pulled and plated on all production lines after full sanitation "5 steps CIP"
2-13 Meet plant agreed quality targets related to production lines based on CORK monthly results.
2-14 Meet agreed M&W program targets in terms of no. of samples in specs and ingredient loss.
2-15 Ensure safe operation in his area of concern.
2-16 Ensure producing safe products and applying key food safety attributes in his area of concern.
2-17 Assume other duties as assigned by area management.
Qualifications/Requirements
4-1 Bsc. degree in science or agriculture from recognized university.
4-2 0 to 2 years experience in quality operations, in field of food industries will be an added value.
4-3 Strong communication skills
4-4 Handling multitasks at the same time.
4-5 Ability to work under stress
4-6 Good command on MS package
4-7Acceptable written and spoken English
4-8 Ability to make quick decisions and work in a fast paced environment
4-9 Basic understanding of a laboratory environment
4-10 Ability to work nights and weekends
