Provide product and applications support for the IDS Diagnostics (Microbiology and Molecular Solutions) business throughout Egypt and flexibility for extension to Sudan, Libya and other areas in the MENA region as needed (Levant Region). Promote product portfolio and strategies through presentations and in-line with marketing activities, through evaluations, project plans, write-ups and competitive analysis. Internal training to distributor network and update on product portfolio.

Other Key Responsibilities :-

Influence opinion leaders regarding the features and benefits of BD Diagnostic Microbiology solutions.

Will ideally display the potential to develop into self-motivating lead role for implementing project based complete solutions and team building according to BD IDS Diagnostics Microbiology and Molecular complete portfolio and services to meet and increase expected growth within the specified region.

Provide product and applications support for end users and distributors throughout the Egypt and extension to Sudan and Libya as needed.

Provide in-house and on-site trainings (basic to advanced) for customers.

Provide demonstrations of existing & new products to customers (end users & distributors).

Participating in country workshops, seminar exhibitions or trade shows.

Presentations to customers or KOL’s based on IIDS Marketing Strategies

Promote blood culture standard methodology and BD solutions to key opinion leaders and key decision leaders in relation to features, advantages and benefits of BD solutions. Such activities will be closely aligned to marketing/sales strategies.

Strong after sales support and troubleshooting for Microbiology and ability to focus on project completions. Ensuring customer support for all phases of project implementation and continual after sales support.

Support teamwork and the sharing of ideas and information between businesses throughout the Middle East and EMA. Ensure that BD’s professional and ethical standards are maintained.

Support marketing activities and strategies towards product segmentation and expansion by market mapping to penetrate segments based on sound clinical guidance and evidence aligned with strategies.

Review and follow-up on product evaluations for appropriate report and summary.

About You:-

Degree level, either in microbiology, molecular biology or medical laboratory sciences. Alternative qualifications could be considered, dependent upon professional experience.

Will have at least 3-5 years within microbiology laboratory. Will have a sound knowledge in bacterial identification and susceptibility testing and exposure to IT and LIS. Experience in use of data management systems for epidemiology and surveillance

Strong focus on customer support, Commitment to collaboration and co-operation whilst being able to operate independently and self sufficiently

Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels
