Value Stream Maintenance Planner & Preventive maintenance Expert At Mars |1 to 3 years experience in Maintenance Engineering
Job Purpose:
Planning and Scheduling all Corrective / Preventive Activities raised on VS Tours and during normal Line Operation (60% of his role)
Developing on daily basis detailed job package for all preventive maintenance and turnaround tasks for his VS.
Developing, communicating and maintaining a workable and forward schedule to balance work requirements and VS priorities across production needs and maintenance resource constraints
Providing coordination between planning and warehouse as a part of the proactive, preventive and corrective maintenance programs as well as spare parts sourcing leadership.
Helping to develop and setup the predictive and proactive maintenance program in his all VS areas.
Responsible for Sustaining and Continually Improving the Operational Performance and Reliability of the Plant Equipment
Hands on Implementation of PM and improvement activities within his value stream (40% of his role)
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead and Planning of all Corrective, Preventive and Proactive Maintenance Activities for all Production Facilities and Utilities
• Improve equipment reliability while minimizing conversion costs by efficient utilization of labor, parts, materials, and outside vendor services
• Gate keeper for all maintenance jobs according to priority specifications
• Create and update job sheet library based on experience and feedback from maintenance technicians and reliability engineer.
• Elaborate and communicate reports related to planning activities
• Represent the VS Maintenance Team in Daily Connection Points, GTA, JTM & DOM
• Responsible for Implementing, Updating and Execution of Plant Preventive Maintenance Master Plan and CBM Plan
• Champion CMMS & SAP systems.
• Arrange stock-take of spare instrument/ equipment and instrument/equipment that is in use.
• Championing GAP Analysis for Quality standards for the Maintenance Team.
• Lead, Execute and Document Daily / Periodically Checklists
• Support in Planning / Issuing Daily Work Orders for PM Experts and Shift Technicians
• Responsible for Dealing and Supervising Activities carried out through External Contractors
• Updatine Site Master Spare Parts Data against new Equipment and Projects
• Monitor / Improve the Spares Consumption over the Plant Production Facilities and Utilities as per his scope
• Improving No. of Spare Parts through Unification and Standardizing of the used Spares
• Coordinate with the Storekeeper to update Spare Parts Specifications, min. & max. Values
• Coordinate with the Planner to define Tasks duration, Tools, Resources needed for all Lines Shutdown Activities
• Plan / Lead Value Stream Annual Overhauling
• Comply with ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 through any Process or Document over the Plant Production Facilities and Utilities
• Monitor Machine History & Scorecards and update Maintenance Strategy & Master Plan accordingly
• Support Site Projects Team during Design, Installation and Commissioning Phases for any New Project
• Support Regional Engineering Team during Design, Installation and Commissioning Phases for any New Project
• Implement a Safe Environment for both Equipment and Associates and 100% Closure for all Safety Near Misses over the VS Production Facilities and Utilities
• Implement Quality and Food Safe Environment for the Products through maintain Site CCPs, OPRP’s states and 100% closure for all Q&FS Near Misses raised over the VS
• Act as a champion to collaborate cross-functionally in Nexus execution for incident reporting, corrective action and preventive actions.
• Ensure all SRC’s within span of control are adhered to and updated in Datalyzer, correct any deviations and escalate if needed.
• Ensure FMOS boards are updated and well maintained. Monitor and report TRS plus the Scrap, Rework & Downtimes that related to technical issues. Escalate immediately if any deviation.
• Support Technical Trainer in coordinating and conducting training to technical team, and prepare the required documentation (SOP’s, OPL’s and work instructions).
• Drive continuous improvement activities by participating in FRCA and PDCA initiatives.
• Implement all specific Safety Standards related to his VS as per the direction from SES Team & according to our Mars Quality & Food Safety Standards
Stakeholders:
Internal: VSO, R&D, Q&FS, SES, Site projects team and Regional Engineering team
External: Managing local suppliers, and external workshops.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical
Experience:
1 to 3 years experience in Maintenance Engineering, preferable in Food Manufacturing industry
Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization
