Site projects and factory IT engineer At Mars|4+ years experience in Electrical Engineering
Job Purpose:
-Securing site operations though maintaining healthy manufacturing IT systems which secures total mars inc. operations
-Maintain site controls library updated as well implementing CI projects for improving controls reliability.
-Is cyber security program owner on site, develop and execute actions to keep the site secured from external malware attacks
-An Active member in Site Projects team
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Delivery of IT Solutions related Services.
Is owner of the FACTORY IT Infrastructure in his home plant.
Is owner of the FACTORY IT Masterplan.
Responsible for cyber security compliance of the FACTORY IT infrastructure in his home plant
Is responsible for implementation of FACTORY IT projects in his home plant.
Is business partner of OPERATION TEAM, IEs and ENGINEERING responsible for delivery of Factory IT part of PRODUCTION solutions.
Manage external contractors for Factory IT tasks, following all the induction processes and supervise their works in the site.
Establish and monitor a set of KPI’s related to Factory IT infrastructure, services and solutions to include performance, availability and functionality metrics.
Leading Assigned Small minors’ projects in his area of expertise
Responsible for maintaining the status of site manufacturing IT scope
Manufacturing servers
Site clients
Layer 2 & layer 3 switches
Manufacturing core switch
Office-factory firewall.
Responsible for running maintenance and warranty contracts with servers/switches OEMs or representatives
Run regular security patches over different factory stations
Is a member of factory IT committee and responsible for auditing system integrity and update global IT metrics with status and actions
This position also actively participates and contributes to the success of the site reliability improvement program and the continuous improvement teams in operations.
Responsible for Leading and Planning of all Preventive and Proactive Maintenance Activities related to electrical and controls systems
Stakeholders:
Internal : VSO, SES, Q&FS, Production planner, IE, IS
External: External suppliers, other Mars sites and technical COP, Managing local suppliers
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
4+ years experience in Electrical Engineering, preferable in FMCG Factories.
FMCG IT Networks experience.
Solid Knowledge of IT systems and network structure
Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization
