Summary Of The Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes, documentation, customs clearance and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction. Everyone in the logistics department is responsible for responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and for notifying customers about any delays in the delivery schedule. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of purchase orders
Process End customer invoices accurately and on time
Familiar with Egypt regional Customs regulations and requirements
Familiar with different modes of Transportation “Road, Sea and Air”
Prepare accurate Shipping documents
liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs
Familiar with processing Letter of Credit orders
Satisfy air bills in a timely manner
Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments
Review purchase orders and shipment contents prior to dispatch
must have analytical skills
Familiar with Projects management fundamentals
Track and analyze mis-shipments to ensure they don’t occur again
Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels
Ensure quality of all services and processes within the facility
Adhere with the corporate trade, finance compliance all the time
continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
liaise with officials in various agencies to ensure goods are cleared through customs or quarantine.
Track and analyze distributors' performance for shipments' customs clearance and maintain tracker for clearance cycle
Experience in LC documents preparation and bank submission
Audit and review suppliers and freight forwarders regularly to ensure compliance with required company standards
Handle product recalls; communicate with Suppliers and Customer Service to ensure all products are returned timely and effectively
Maintain good working relationships with Suppliers and 3PL providers
Develop and improve logistics operational processes and drive efficiencies in key metrics: Backorder, Shipment Leadtime, Perfect Order, Invoice Accuracy & Claims Resolution Leadtime

Qualifications
Experience Required
Education: University degree preferred in Logistics / supply chain management or equal by experience
Experience : 5 Years experience in Logistics and supply Chain
Advantages: Customs knowledge
Language: English, French is a plus
