About the Job
As a Junior SHE Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing organizational safety programs in our Head office and Early Life Nutrition Division with elevating employee wellbeing across Danone Egypt through Dan’Being program. The role is responsible to ensure the fulfillment of WISE 2 requirements in HQ as well as having clear milestones related to Dan’Being Pillars with clear calendar across Egypt to ensure always that Employee safety and wellbeing comes first.
As a Junior SHE Manager, you will be doing the following activities:
Lead and monitor the implementation of WISE and Danone Global Safety Standards.
Drive the change for the improvement of the safety awareness & culture among HQ and ELN at all levels.
Develop safety vision and road map in HQ and ELN
Assure that management team & EXCO members have continuous flow of information concerning accidents, incidents, Near Misses, potential hazards and work-related activities which contribute to safety consciousness and accident prevention.
Ensure that all required risk assessments and risk mitigation plans are properly conducted and executed to eliminate all identified safety risks in the HQ and ELN
Develop clear communication plan related to safety & wellbeing in HQ and ELN
Investigate root causes of accidents, incidents, injuries, and illness resulting from incidents and initiates corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
Plan and conduct emergency drills and report learning and required actions in HQ
Ensure proper distribution and usage of provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs)
Monitor & analyze annual Dan’Being objectives across Egypt
Develop a clear Dan’Being calendar across Egypt to increase employee wellbeing across Egypt
Develop a road map for ONE HEALTH program across cluster to elevate employee’s engagement and wellbeing
Develop gap assessment with clear precautionary measures related to occupational health risks across cluster.
Lead the internal activation of project strong (Iron deficiency)
Conduct weekly safety tour in HQ
Organize & lead motivation events across Egypt
Continuous upgrade HQ facility in line of improving employee wellbeing
ABOUT YOU
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferable with a medical knowledge.
Location: Danone Cairo HQ.
Languages required: Excellent Arabic & English – spoken, written, and reading.
Experience: 1 to 3 years in SHE role, preferable with Health background in FMCG or Pharmaceuticals.
Computer skills: Competency in use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point.
