ROLE PURPOSE:
• Drive the change for the improvement of both safety culture & wellbeing awareness.• Work with different areas to provide safe working environment
• Comply with local/group policies and legislations regarding health & safety
• Apply health & safety programs and standards in the workplace
Key Accountabilities
Key Activities / Decision Areas
Manage food safety/hygiene process for VF food providers
• Act as the safety expertise in new caterers’ assessment to ensure that food safety standards are fully imbedded in projects from the design phase till execution
• Conduct internal audits, coordinating with external parties to conduct the hygiene audit to identify areas of improvement
• Provide guidance to Property & Facilities team
Design, implement and coordinate Health, Safety & Wellbeing awareness campaigns.
• Coordinating with different agencies and suppliers to deliver the campaign in a professional way
• Consistent communication plan to all staff to aware them by the prevention/emergency actions
• Receiving and act upon staff feedback/comments/suggestions regarding health & safety issues
• Design & Implement internal communication tools (intranet, mobile application, emails, … etc.)
Handle the Health & Safety operation for in-house clinics
• Maintain and review H&S plans and procedures for in-house clinics

Technical / Professional Expertise
• Education: B.Sc. of medicine, or equivalent academic background is preferred.• Certified from a recognized safety institute (NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH etc) is an add on.
• Work Experience: 2-4 years’ experience in similar HS&W operational field
• PC Knowledge: Excellent command of Office Applications.
• Technical skills: Strong background of Hazard analysis, and risk assessment.
• Personal skills: good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent command of the English language being able to read and write technical papers at maximum proficiency
• Special requirements: Creativity and openness to new ideas. Innovation, Self-motivation and engagement skills.
