ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting to MENAPT/ SSA Associate Manager, Material Planning you will be responsible for Material Requirement Planning (MRP) process ensuring materials availability to support the production schedule at the optimal inventory investment and cost for the specific production sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing MRP process as well as facilitating/driving issue resolution
Participating in huddle meetings and ensuring alignment with the global standards and best practices
Being part of the weekly & monthly Supply Review meetings as a part of the S&OP process
Accountable for Case Fill Rate and Inventory KPI’s within their cluster(s) or category(s) or site(s)
Ensuring aligned inventory strategies are incorporated into updated plans
Proactively communicating potential issues with the Product Supply– while leading issue resolution
Conducting monthly root cause analysis of KPI’s for their category/cluster/plant – and identifying/driving corrective actions
Leading capability and both long and short-term capacity assessments on supporting demand changes
Establishing good relationships with suppliers
Updating and maintaining KPIs dashboard and supplier’s scorecard
Ensuring proper Master Data and PO maintenance

Required Skills / Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience (Preferred in Planning)
Experience in working with ERP systems and PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key business and planning concepts
Ability to drive action and influence decision making
Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Process improvement
