Regional SRA Program Manager At Mars Egypt
Job Purpose
Regional SRA Program Manager Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, part of the R&D department Globally “Research & Development” with a responsibility scope within MEA markets, based in Cairo.
Reporting to SRA Regional Director and is an individual contributor .
Job Accountability:
Leads the external networking, influencing scientific and regulatory strategy, Leads the horizon scanning strategy, to gain insights to guide Stakeholders on current, new/emerging regulatory issues.
Leads Regulatory Change Management work streams ensuring business impact is accessed and communicated to Stakeholders.
Leads a variety of internal and external, scientific and regulatory activities /projects/risk assessments (internal, global and external) to compile and communicate SRA position to influence strategy in Scale Activation and Activation markets and maximize business freedom to operate.
Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in scientific and/or regulatory compliance/affairs and/or a related technical area with food products or related product categories (such as food supplements, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and natural health products) with proficiency in food law, nutrition policy, and regulatory affairs for MEA.
Experience working on large-scale regulatory compliance or regulatory affairs a demonstrated track record of working successfully across functions to achieve shared goals; and proven ability to interact cross-functionally at all levels within the organization are required.
Experience working with trade associations and government agencies to clarify and resolve regulatory matters is required.
