Job Purpose:
Responsible for the microbiological testing of raw materials, bulk and finished products, purified water, and water for injection.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for routine testing of raw materials, bulk, finished products, purified water and water for injection related to Micro lab.
Responsible for routine testing for Micro lab, stability testing and analytical method validation testing of Finished products with coordination of other QC sections.
Responsible for Microbiological assay for routine and stability products.
Responsible for Media preparation and all other microorganisms related activities.
Record the results in the relevant lab. Documents and quality systems.
Operate the lab equipment properly.
Responsible for performing and maintaining calibration schedules and preventive maintenance for Lab. equipment with coordination with validation department.
Shares with OQ team in fulfilling investigation requirements in conducting investigational testing and submitting results.
Ensure that the cGMP and safety requirements are fulfilled during work.
Use KM tools for effective Information search and on-going improvement in ways of working.
Responsible for implementation of all EHS requirements during performance of lab. Activities.
Responsible for Micro lab consumables inventory control and stock management.
Handling required microbiological testing for environmental samples of Lactam and Non Lactam Value Streams of sterile and non-sterile manufacturing areas.
Conducting and documenting the qualification/validation microbiological testing for system, equipment and process testing regarding Sterility testing suite, Lactam and Non lactam Value streams of sterile and non sterile manufacturing areas.
Gowning qualification of Lactam and Sterile filling area operators.
Preparing monthly and annual trend reports for viable environmental and water system's results.
Knowledge/ Education / Experience Required:
University Bachelor's degree from faculty of Pharmacy or Sciences.
0 to 2 years of experience, experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Experience in QC is an advantage.
Knowledge of Equipment manipulation.
Good computer and communication skills.
Good command of English language.
Knowledge of GLP and GMP requirements.
