About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for a procurement professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The position lies within the EMEA Indirect Procurement team and comprises a responsibility over the Indirect portfolio for Egypt. You’ll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the CapEx & Maintenance Lead EMEA. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders.
As the Egyptian Indirect Buyer- you are the commercial and contractual linking pin between Kraft Heinz and its Indirect suppliers and internal stakeholders. You actively contribute in budget savings of Egyptian stakeholders by driving competitive price- cash and be accountable for capex projects within the budget and timelines. You make sure suppliers are aware and comply with Kraft Heinz policies- procedures and quality criteria
In brief- you will be responsible for;
Working in cross-functional teams (Procurement- Engineering- R&D- Legal) and lead the supplier selection and contracting for Indirect Procurement projects
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Deliver on key financial targets such as savings and working capital
Benchmark the market and come up with breakthrough ideas for your category
Define and drive Egyptian Sourcing Strategy on Indirect Goods and Services and align with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing- Engineers- HR- Marketing- IT- Legal- Finance- Site Manager- European and Global Procurement)
Have responsibility of all categories in the cluster (11 categories) which is a spend of approx. $9MM.
Ensure that capex projects are implemented in factory on time and with TCO approach
Develop supplier partnerships to identify and develop ongoing total cost reductions
Drive and actively support stakeholders in various new cost reduction projects in corresponding categories to contribute to company's top line growth
Run local tenders
Develop a long-term sourcing strategy for the categories to enable growth in the category
Reporting on ZBB- tracking savings on cost and cash
Assure that indirect processed are fully compliant with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Hard Skills
Bachelor or master degree- preferably in Engineering- Procurement- Management- Supply Chain- Economics or another related business area required
4-5 years’ experience purchasing experience in Indirect category- Indirect - Capex and Maintenance procurement experiences are a plus
Advanced user of MS Office- SAP MDG and SRM
Speaks fluently English and Arabic- both languages are essential; other languages (Spanish- Polish- Dutch- Italian- French- Russian) are a plus
Is a team player who is able to create a collaborative environment and is able to manage different stakeholders on all levels of seniority.
Is a self-starter who is hands-on and pro active
Experience with working across international timelines and communities;
Has good communication skills
