Location: Egypt, EG-C, Cairo

Your day to day

• Manages all the functions related to Food Safety to achieve the optimum standards of Hygiene. • Develop, Control and find ways to reduce the operations liability for accidents or injuries. • Follows and implements all IC standards, policies and procedures according to the Fire Life Safety, Food Hygiene ( HACCP), Chemical use, Protctive Equipment and others. • Spot Check Kitchen and Back of the House operation daily to ensure high quality of cleanliness. • Ensure the Hotel Food Safety Policy is communicated to all employees and that all food handling staff comply with personal hygiene rules. • Assist the Food & Beverage Director and Executive Chef is developing training plans, develops training material in accordance with IHG guidelines and implement training for all food handling staff. • Food Hygiene training will be given as part of the induction process for all new hires. • Keep up to date with food safety legislation and technological developments in this field • Carry out food safety hazard analysis as required and revise the assessment of food safety risks as necessary • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned

What we need from you

Administrative skills is essential • Ability to communicate fluently in English, Arabic is a plus • HACCP certified • Hospitality courses relating to Food Preparation or Culinary Arts are essential • Bsc. Degree in Veterinary Medicine / Bsc. Degree in Agriculture Engineering
