Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Group: Group Technology
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Job Purpose:
Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the operations, maintenance and expansions of enterprise IT systems as well as supporting IT projects that need Operating systems/software installation, configuration, and verification testing. Also, provides second level of support to desktop PCs, servers and software applications. In addition to assist in Technical Support problems troubleshoot and devise solutions.
Key Requirements:
A college degree or diploma and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology Infrastructure and Systems Administration.
Advanced knowledge of installations, management, upgrades and troubleshooting of Windows Server, UNIX servers and Web application Servers.
Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills.
Experience in banking industry systems is desirable, but not mandatory.
Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other teams. Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self-learning. Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges. Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Fluent in English is a plus
