About the Position                           

We have an excellent opportunity available for fresh R&D professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. You’ll be working in a high performing team and you will be part of the R&D international organization (EMEA- APAC- LATAM). Alongside peers you will always try to reach the next level. Get ready for exposure to internal senior stakeholders but as well working together with factory operators. This role is that you’ll be part of the R&D Product Development Team responsible for product development activities on ground in additional to the documentation part which is very important and critical in R&D department- and this applies for any product within MEA with production site 6 Oct and local copacker within the scope of the Portfolio R&D Manager – Egypt.

You will be responsible to:

Recipe formulation for Innovations & Renovations in line with target cost. Shelf-life study validations and reporting. R&D playbook and documents- PLM & ProjectNow Keep all records and filing up to date for each trial across different scales. Represent R&D in all supplier meetings and develop good relations. New raw materials evaluation and assessment. Lead MB Trails in house and at Copacker sites. Responsible for the R&D Lab. Support the R&D Team in delivering R&D/MEA goals and strategy. Develop and deliver new- improved or more cost-efficient products within the framework of the agreed innovation- cost-out pipeline and SC pipeline projects at the factory or at copackers Continuously find ways to improve our processes- ways of working- capabilities Proactively drive new innovations and cost-out ideas Create- develop and implement industrialized product solutions under specific projects- ensuring robust risk management and delivery of quality attributes in line with consumer’s expectation- brand foundations and guidelines.


Qualifications

Hard Skills


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.

Work Experience: 0-2 years in product Development in FMCGs  

Language Knowledge: Fluent in English

Affinity to work in a factory environment & Ability to travel

Computer Skills: Microsoft office- mail & report writing and dealing with ERP system is a plus.
