Motion And Path Planning Engineer At Brightskies



Location;Alexandria

Job Description:

Development of path planning algorithms based on different strategies.
Development of longitudinal & lateral motion control algorithms to control acceleration/deceleration, braking, and steering to follow the target path.
Test the algorithms in Model-In-The Loop environment based on MATLAB and CARLA.
Identification of the required CAN bus controls to control the different actuators.
Testing and optimization of algorithms on vehicles.
Move the implementation to several embedded platforms.
Vehicle Manipulation through CAN.

  Job Requirements:

0-3 years of experience. (Fresh grads are welcome ONLY if they satisfy the below requirements)
Strong foundations in mathematics, system theory, and control systems.
Strong embedded C and C++ programming skills including implementation and testing of different control algorithms on target hardware.
Knowledge/Experience with PID and Model Predictive Control is mandatory.
Knowledge/Experience with CAN bus interface is mandatory.
Knowledge/Experience with path planning algorithms is a plus.
Knowledge/Experience of testing with CARLA or similar simulators is a plus.
Knowledge of linear quadratic estimator (Kalman filter) is a plus.
Autonomous, motivated, and self-learner are mandatory skills.
